DALLAS- Twenty North Texas mayors have accepted the invitation extended by DFW International Community Alliance to attend a gathering on Aug. 26 that celebrates the contributions of New Americans to the DFW area.

Let’s say for seven days in a row, you wake up to see a dire situation around you. When you woke up on the eighth day, you were going to take an airplane to a place, which would be almost like paradise on this earth, as compared to the everyday anguish of the past seven days.

But instead of feeling happy to leave, you have this extreme lingering sadness inside; telling that you should not leave. Maybe there is a way to delay your departure to stay for few more weeks or maybe months or even years, to see this torturous place come out of the ruins.
