Socio-economic pathology in America

Politics in American society is no longer about public service and servant leadership but has become selfish self-service. Sadly, the political culture of The GOP has devolved into Southern Dixiecrat Autocracy. This sad state of political affairs has taken American society to the other side of fear of power sharing; looking for something for nothing, White Privilege. Too many Americans have forgotten what is ultimately important in any society; especially a democratic society! Individuals can acquire money; even acquire a powerful position of leadership authority, but it means absolutely nothing without a personal relationship with GOD (TRUTH). Therefore, in all of you’re getting: “Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and in all thy getting get understanding.” Hence, without a personal relationship with God (TRUTH); individuals are capable of doing any and everything under the sun. Thus, such individuals should to go to the nearest police station, and vehemently request to be locked-up, because I am insane and capable of doing anything. Evidently our polarized two-party-system apparently has elected too many greedy pathological individuals who have no God conscience to high political offices, and now we are reaping the whirlwind. Apparently, these individuals think that they are going to live forever! Shame, shame on Christian Right Evangelicals and The GOP (The Party of Abraham Lincoln), because they should know better, and if you know better you ought to do better. Likewise, in the Democratic Party one or two self-serving individuals is one too many, because we all know that one bad apple can spoil the entire barrel. Life is about priority ordering. Priorities are values. Ultimately, what individuals place their hope and trust in is an expression of their faith. Thus, hope is an expression of comfort, expectation, confidence and trust. This is why godly Americans can hope that White Privilege oriented Americans who are lost in selfishness and self-service realize the error of their ways, and cease looking […]

Can Democracy Survive in Autocracy?

No doubt about it, the GOP has a White Privilege racially oriented exclusionary socio-political-economic agenda based primarily upon the tenets of autocracy, not democracy. The real question is: can God conscience/ oriented Americans save America from herself? Seemingly, we will not receive any help from Christian Right Evangelicals, the GOP, and White Nationalists groups, because: “To open their eyes, and turn them from darkness to light, and the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” Democracy requires equality and inclusion, and the mindset of autocracy is exclusion and privilege for the few. Therefore, “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” The GOP’s political platform is based primarily upon negative self-centeredness, anti-science; especially climate change issues, racial replacement fears, and fear of power-sharing. The GOP refuses to believe in and accept democratic principles of interdependence. Hence, generational survival (children) is reason enough for positive changes!  However, the GOP is initiating the extinction of itself as a viable political party as well as America, as we know her to be. There are three primary reasons why American democracy cannot survive in a GOP-Russian style autocratic system: loss of hope, lack of spiritual healing, and individual and societal unhappiness. This is why even in Russia autocracy is not viable governing political form of government. Autocracy destroys lasting hope, and the ability of individuals as well as nations to spiritually heal; which in turn, leads to unhappiness, individually as well as societally. Autocracy creates confusion and destroys lasting hope. Thus: “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” Self-centeredness causes individuals to demand their own way or the highway. Former President Trump was a classic example.

Democracy: Voting Rights

Voting rights is the moral-order cornerstone of democracy, because without voting rights/civil rights democracy does not exist. This is precisely why voting rights should never be about partisan politics, but the preservation of democratic principles of governance. Congresswoman Liz Cheney and Congressman Adam Kinzinger recognized and understood the dangers of former President Trump’s “Big Lie.” Yet, without shame, they voted in lock step with all other GOP Representatives against the John Lewis Voting Rights Act: shameful. Of course, the John Lewis Voting Rights Act is not radicalized legislation; it is only designed to strengthen the Voting Rights Act of 1965, because of Trump’s “Big Lie.” Hence, voter suppression is an unlawful attempt on the part of White Privilege oriented Whites to nullify Black and minority citizen’s voter rights, and consequently, circumvents true multi-racial democracy. Moreover, voting rights and economic justice are flip-sides of the same coin. Voting Rights is not political neither Democratic Party or Republican Party partisan politics; but it is American democracy, chosen by the people, of the people, and for the people: one person, one vote. Christian Right Evangelicals, The GOP, and White Nationalist Groups are mentally tripping-out, because minorities are becoming the majority population. These White Privilege oriented groups do not want to lose perceived socio-economic privilege over the economic structure of American society. What they fail to understand is that only a small minority of White Privilege oriented males control and will always control the pros and cons of the system. Know this: the system works for the system that is the individuals that control the system. Fear not White Privilege oriented Americans; it is highly unlikely that Blacks and other minorities will ever control the socio-economic system-structure of American society. Blacks and other minorities are American citizens who suffer collectively with other Americans in times of war, peace, pandemics, weather related acts of nature, as well as recessions and depressions. However, minorities never really enjoy the fruits of a booming economy, because minorities are always the last hired and the first fired. Moreover, from an economic development vantage point, minorities hardly ever or never

"In my mind, there is no way to understand the development of the world's economic and political system post-1800 C.E. without a solid and sophisticated understanding of the transatlantic slave trade," stated John Rosinbum, a Texas-based high school teacher. (Photo: iStockphoto / NNPA)

The Transatlantic Slave Trade: A Day of Remembrance

“It is important to recognize the International Decade for People of African Descent as an international corrective to combat the systematic indoctrination of the lie of African inferiority,” said Dr. Kevin Cokley, the director of the Institute for Urban Policy Research & Analysis. “Passing H.R. 40 would count as the most significant legislative achievement to impact the victims of the transatlantic slave trade.”

COMMENTARY: Hitlerism: Trumpism

Republicans are sick and penicillin is not the cure, because they desire to live in an entirely White country. America was never a White country because Native Americans (Indians) and Mexicans were indigenous-inhabitants of the land when the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock. By and large, the Republican Party has a White Privilege agenda, and the Democratic Party has an inclusive Multi-Cultural American identity agenda as profoundly displayed in President Biden’s inaugural inclusive-programmatic format.

Education, Democracy and Christianity

By: Bobby E. Mills, PhD Democracy requires an educated-spiritually-intelligent voting population. The Bible states it in a most profound emphatic manner: “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” (Revelation 1: 3). Understanding the spiritual instruction of the Holy Bible is necessary for the proper functioning of a democratic society; without becoming a Theocracy. Thus, in the sight of God equal is equal, not more or less equal. The election of Donald J. Trump to the Office of President is a clear-cut-spiritual example of why spiritual-education is so very important to the well-being of a healthy democratic society. “Then Peter and the other Apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.” (Especially males such as Donald J. Trump). (Acts 5: 29). Every American needs to know for their own spiritual and mental stability and well-being that, “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keep not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought also walk, even as he walked.” (1 John 2: 3—6). Christian Right Evangelicals cease and desist from using ungodly racially-oriented-motivated-doctrines of exclusion, because “All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3: 23-24). Therefore: “Let all things de done decently and in order.” (1 Corinthians 14: 40). Thus, if every American understood these profound words of spiritual inspiration; we would have peace and tranquility in American society, and spiritual love would abundantly flow like a mighty stream. Above all, America could assist in establishing peace, civility, and tranquility in the world’s communal-order; not by carrying a Big Stick (military might), but by spiritually respecting and loving the
