In his book, Enough, Juan Williams said civil rights strategy dealt with only three issues:
1. What white people have done wrong.
2.  what white people didn't do.
3.  what white people should do. 

Consequently, I have edited my article, "Breaking the Cycle of Urban Poverty":

"Douglassonian doctrine is preoccupied with whites:  what whites have done wrong, what whites should have done what whites should do (Juan Williams, Enough)."
