All of these Houston weekend events are rated A for amazing fun and are worthy of a place on your list of things to do. You can let your hair down and be a part of a Ladies Night Out, support your local NBA team or get your praise on.
There's no excuse to stay cooped up in the house and not have a little fun even if you're short on cash, I've found a free event that's maybe across town from you, but well worth the ride.

Ladies Night Out With Tom Joyner
They plan plenty to have plenty of entertainment and few bites to nibble on for the women that show up Friday night when the fly jock Tom Joyner stops in Houston for Ladies Night Out,  at the Home Depot in Pearland.
This celebration is slated to be filled with fun, prizes and few do-it-herself workshop to show the lady of the house how easy she can turn that ordinary house into a beautiful home.

Rockets vs Mavericks In Toyota Center
The Houston Rockets without Ron Artest, Yao and McGrady won't resemble the team that pushed the LA Lakers to seven games during the playoffs, but the coaches and their die hard fans still seem hopeful.
You can see them take on the cross state rivals from Dallas this weekend at Toyota Center.

Free Gospel Concert
The Bridge Southwest Community Church is holding a free concert starring gospel artist John P Kee. It's a Houston event that you don't have to miss, because it's free.
Kee, known for his signature vamps will have the dynamic New Life Community Choir in tow to help him deliver a power packed gospel performance. You can expect him to fill the night with plenty of his passionate praise and worship music.

Sure. There are lots more events in Houston this weekend, but you can't beat this selection. A free concert by a Grammy Award winning gospel artist for the price of gas, a chance to win a prize or lose your voice shouting at the referees. So put down the remote and stop being reluctant to leave your comfort zone. Go out and enjoy the entertainment options that H-town has to offer.
