DALLAS- The First Ladies Against Domestic Violence Gospel Celebration 2009 will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at 4 p.m., at the Majsetic Theatre Dallas, 1925 Elm Street. First Lady Honorees are: First Lady Marianne Allen, Christ for the Nations Church; First Lady Savoy Colbert, Greater True Vine; First Lady Barbara Hicks, Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church; Dr. Ouida Lee, United Methodist Church of the Disciple; First Lady Terri Peaks, Good News International Christian Center; and First Lady Dorothy Sneed, Loving Fellowship Baptist Church.
Proceeds from the celebration directly benefit The Family Place. The Emcee will be Joni Lamb, Host of daily talk show the “Joni” Show, with a live performance by Vickie Winans.
