HOUSTON- It all went down at the New Bethel Baptist Worship Experience, 3505 Brewster Street, where Rev. Caleb B. Anderson is pastor.
Sis. Charissa Singleton, youth director, for NBBWE, conducted a program of praise dancing, group singing and Christian rapping, to promote HIV/AIDS Awareness to young people in northeast Houston.
The program was titled “Swaggalicious Extravaganza” and the question was asked, “Who’s Behind Your Swagger?” The church was packed with young people, the rappers testified in their songs and Deacon Lary (Chatter Box) Hale was on the sound system.
Everyone in attendance had a rocking, hand clapping good time as they were made conscious of the dangers of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
