DALLAS- MGT of America, Inc., a nationally recognized management and research consulting firm, is conducting a study of the utilization of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) for the State of Texas agencies and institutions of higher education.  The study will examine the procurement of services and products for the State of Texas agencies and institutions of higher education, the subcontracting practices of prime contractors who do business with the State of Texas agencies and institutions of higher education, and the anecdotal evidence collected from a broad cross section of businesses.
You can provide input to MGT and the Comptroller’s Office regarding the Disparity Study and the HUB program at the upcoming Public Hearing. The Public Hearing will be Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 6:00p.m. located at the Bill J. Priest Institute, 1402 Corinth Street.
