FORT WORTH- To celebrate National Literacy Month, Literary Arts Connection of Texas (L.A.C.), a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization in collaboration with The Dock Bookshop, will host its city-wide event:  DFW Literary SoulFEST on September 24-27, 2009.  The goal of this event is to promote the reading of books, bring community awareness to issues concerning our youth, health, environment, and economy as well as raise the needed funds to honor the L.A.C. mission.  The mission of Literary Arts Connection is to promote literacy to increase knowledge and inspire community action that will connect people, improve lives and help protect our environment.
