HOUSTON- Houston Community College- Northeast will host a College Registration Fest and Health Fair on Saturday, August 22, 2009 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The event will be held in the new Learning Hub building 555 Community College Dr. The college will provide registration assistance, information on career programs, tours, and financial aid assistance.  As a part of the fest, a Health & Resource Fair will also take place, providing health screenings and awareness information for students and the community. 
Vision, dental, and blood pressure screenings will be available, as well as information on breast cancer, utility assistance, CHIP, Medicaid, and STAR Plus.  Free refreshments will be provided and a chance to win prizes.
