The former Miss Black USA 2008, Kristen E. White, crowned the new Shayna Yvonne Rudd as this year’s new Miss USA. Rudd graduated from Howard University and is now the CEO/ Founder of The LadyDiva Corporation. Jasmine Alexis was crowned as the first Miss Black USA Talented Teen. Andrea Hill from Texas and Tiffany Loyd from Lousiana were contestants for the “People’s Choice Award.”
