View all articles by Al RigginsDWI v TWD: These two activities, performed by reckless and selfish individuals, are costing innocent individuals in many ways. It is costing huge medical bills from injuries, irreversible and crippling injuries, innocent lives, and so much more. Something must be done to address the damage and suffering caused by these types of individuals, who choose to partake in these risky behaviors. DWI drivers are choosing to drink and drive in their condition. TWD drivers are choosing to drive and text, often with no hands on the steering wheel. There must be stronger measures in place to let these type of risk-takers know that there is a level of accountability that they are being held to. Too many innocent individuals are suffering because of the actions of these renegades. Their next victim might be eating, sleeping, laughing, or talking to you right now.
