Beaumont Organization Seeks to Revitialize North End Community

Dr. Airon Reynolds, Jr. President Helbig CDC BEAUMONT- Dr. Airon Reynolds, Jr., president of the Helbig Community Development Corpration Inc., has emerged as a community leader for the Helbig Community which is located in the North End of Beaumont.
The Helbig Community Development Corporation, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community organization.
The goals of Helbig Community Development Corpration Inc., are: (1) to provide leadership, education and development for the residents, (2) to assist residents of the neighborhood to become self empowered, (3) to develop and maintain affordable housing and promote home ownership, (4) to promote quality health for individuals and families, (5) to promote economic self-sufficiency through business development, (6) to understand and participate in and improve social systems, public policies, government and governance, (7) to promote high level civic education, especially through voter registration and voting, (8) to implement recreation and leisure time activities for individuals and families, (9) to establish a viable crisis intervention program, (10) to prevent juvenile delinquency and promote crime prevention, and (11) to engage in all specific worthwhile endeavors which will empower, enhance and advance, individuals, families and the neighborhood.
Reynolds is a product of the Port Arthur Independent School District and a 1978 graduate of the Abraham Lincoln High School. He received his Bachelor of Theology from United Theological Seminary & Bible College of Monroe, LA and his honorary Doctor of Divinity from the University of India.
