Houston HBCU Alumni hosts Scholarship/ Membership Mixer

HOUSTON- The Houston HBCU Alumni Association will host its 5th Annual Scholarship & Membership Alumni Mixer, on Friday, August 7, 2009, from 5-9p.m., at Inferno Grill & Lounge 7637 FM 1960 (next to Willowbrook Mall).
The Houston HBCU Alumni Association, Inc. is a consortium of local Houston-based Alumni from several Black Colleges and Universities. Some membership includes: Texas Southern, Grambling State, Alabama State, Southern, Jackson State, Alabama A&M, North Carolina A&T State, Prairie View A&M, Jarvis Christian, and Huston-Tillotson. The primary objectives of the association are to: raise funds to support the Historically Black Colleges and Universities through scholarships and inform prospective students of the many advantages of attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
