I find it very interesting and very pathetic. Please comment if u agree or disagree, that some of us may just listen to the music and not even realize that what we are placing these types of songs on the charts which are actually selling billions of records by disrespecting and degrading women. This has been going on for years and every year it just keeps getting worse. In January, Plies’ Da Realist, took the No. 42 on BET.com music chart and the number 1 spot with a song featuring Chris J -  Put It On Ya.

I find it very interesting and very pathetic. Do you really like that song? Young ladies have you passed the tests that Plies has specifically prepared for those of you who wish to indulge in such acts? The lyrics say:

Let’s grade you, give you a report card
Your first test is, can you get it hard
Show me how good you communicate when we start
Today’s pop quiz, define your hot spot
Wanna see how good your balance is on top

Give you a A+ if you don’t stop
This a big test, you looking kinda shocked
Either you get promoted, or you get dropped

Your final exam, show me your wet box
Ain’t no tattle teller, i keep my mouth locked
Make you an honor student, show me you back shot
You passed with flying colors, ooh that’s a nice watch

Analyzing this verse, the whole motive of this song is indulging in sexual activity point blank and getting graded for it. Wow! The first test consist of whether or if
you can get a man sexually excited or stimulated.

Wait a minute in between the tests here is a pop quiz. What turns you on? As if he really cares.

The second test requires receiving a grade on how well your performance (balance) was and if you get to be his woman (or one of his women). And let’s not talk about promising to be silent, knowing he will tell all of his hommies about  'how you put it on him' in a one night stand. Evidently you like that, you listen to it, you indulge in it, but you will eventually  get hurt by it.

So, you have a choice. You can listen to the music with no harm or make the lyrics a living act and allow them to become a norm in a society that makes you worthless. Now... Did you pass or fail the test?
