PUBLISHER'S ANALYSIS: Foreign Terrorists are the Least of My Worries

I wasn’t really surprised to hear of a young, Black, female guest on a recent Tyra show, who was filled with such self-hate that she carried around a Rebel flag and often wore a mask that resembled a hood worn by KKK members who to this day, still need something to hide behind when it comes to threatening Blacks—although they consider themselves superior. However, my antennae went up when Chamber’s County Deputy Shane T. Detwiler was shot and killed by Gilbert Ortez, Jr. Maybe I was on heightened awareness because Detwiler had just left the Texas Game Warden division to become a deputy and my nephew Kevin Malonson, is a game warden.
Although I know how callous we have become, and I understand how a dispute over a water bill can lead to two deaths and a third-person being jailed, I almost missed an incidental mention when Texas Rangers found more than 100 explosive devices inside the trailer home. Although family members of the suspect think that the department overacted (never mind that Ortez’s common-law wife, Pamela Leggett, started the whole mess by shooting at a female water department employee) Sheriff Joe La Rive stated that they found “Everything from homemade pipe bombs to altered gas grenades. For whatever reason, he’s been stockpiling those devices.”
What caught my attention were 12 little words in another sentence by the sheriff, “We have found some Nazi swastika drawings and pictures in the house.” Hmmm. According to the American Nazi Party which at this point Ortez’s affiliation is unknown, “American National Socialists are not ‘monsters’ as portrayed by the systems controlled media—we are White men and women who care deeply for the future of our children in a decadent, corrupt world gone mad.”
For now, I’ll table the discussion about Ortez being a Spanish-surname and defer to speculators who say that Leggett is the one who probably introduced the Nazi mind-set. But even so, the American Nazi Party takes a giant swipe at America’s Hispanics. “Currently, America has an estimated 20 million Brown, mestizo illegal aliens who have invaded our nation—this evil, corrupt Judeo-Capitalist system— where basically 3% of the population, control 85% of the nation’s wealth, are demanding and will eventually grant ‘amnesty’ to these foreigners. Why?
“Because they want a cheap, slave-like workforce—where decent wages and benefits will be a thing of the past. All in the name of selfishness and greed. Every year, our White children’s expected life-style—is declining—compared to the previous generations. Once these illegal are granted “citizenship”, by law—they are allowed to bring into our country—all their ‘extended families.’ This means not only their usual very large amount of children—but, mom, pop, grandma, grandpa and who have you.”
One month after President Obama was inaugurated, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) revealed: “the number of hate groups operating in the United States continued to rise in 2008 and has grown by 54% since 2000—an increase fueled last year by immigration fears, a failing economy and the successful campaign of Barack Obama.” The SPLC identified 926 hate groups active in 2008, up more than 4% from the 888 groups in 2007 and far above the 602 groups documented in 2000. By the way, Texas (66) is second behind California (84) in the number of known to be operating hate groups. Another interesting fact is that the last two states to join the union, which incidentally are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, have 0.
I’m not advocating moving to either, but I will say this: There are many like Ortez throughout this country and they don’t all live in trailers. And that’s why I am not worried about foreign terrorists.
