Bishop D.L. & First Lady Cedell Goffney I COLDSPRING- A major milestone in ministry has been reached by God’s faithful and humble servants, Bishop D.L. & First Lady Cedell Goffney I.  They will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary in ministry and leading God’s people.
God’s Restoration Revival Center Holiness Church, cordially invites the public to be a part of the 40th Anniversary Banquet, on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 7 p.m. The banquet will be held at the Coldspring-Oakhurst High School Cafetorium.
Bishop D.L. Goffney I initially became pastor of Maynard First Church of Christ in 1969. Soon afterwards, the late Deacon Neal Hughes invited him to preach at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church, which is now the present site of God’s Restoration Revival Center Holiness Church. He was consecrated and ordained on March 26, 1976. The Goffneys have been married for 42 years and have six children.
