TSU offers Summer Academy II Courses

HOUSTON- Texas Southern University (TSU) has college courses for incoming freshmen for the second session of Summer Academy opening July 20, 2009. TSU has 200 slots for freshmen interested in attending Texas Southern. The summer academy is designed to give those students who are serious about college, the opportunity to attend college.
If students do not meet the new TSU admission requirements and have not attended the first session of Summer Academy, they must now attend Summer Academy Session II, July 20 – August 15, if they intend to enroll into TSU this fall. Students enrolled in summer academy II will attend classes from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Summer Academy focuses on raising TAKS scores with a special emphasis in math and science. For more information, contact Jimar Proctor at (713)313-7958.
