Clear Lake Regional Medical Center to host Senior Adult Health and Wellness Fair

WEBSTER- Clear Lake Regional Medical Center will host its First Annual Senior Health and Wellness Fair on Friday, July 10, 2009.
Geared to adults ages 50 and older, the event is open to the public and will be held at the Heart & Vascular Hospital, 495 Medical Center Blvd. in Webster, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fair is sponsored by H2U- “Health, Happiness, You”- a membership organization dedicated to understanding the unique health needs of adults and providing valuable health information, resources and experiences.
Booths will be set up to provide free screenings including cholesterol, blood glucose and blood pressure, bone density, hearing, body mass index and body fat analysis. The fair will offer useful information about local resources and services vital to older adults, their caregivers and families. Topics include housing, transportation, home health care, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, local recreational activites and more.
