Sallie and Percy “Frenchy” Creuzot HOUSTON- The Annual “Heart of Houston” Awards Show and Luncheon is the annual fundraiser for the Fifth Ward Enrichment Program.  This year, it will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 from 11a.m. to 1p.m., at The Power Center, 12401 South Post Oak Road. With a theme of “Celebrating Education and the Entrepreneurial Spirit,” the Heart of Houston will honor Entrepreneurial Trailblazers Mr. and Mrs. Percy “Frenchy” and  Sallie Creuzot, founders of Frenchy’s Chicken and Education Champion Dr. Felix L. Cook. The Creuzots are celebrating 40 years of Frenchy’s Resturant Operations. City Council Member Jarvis Johnson will emcee the event. The celebration will include reception entertainment by jazz artist Joe Carmouch. Individual ticket prices are $100.
