I’ve said it for years. Integration has done a lot for the Black race, however a lot of people are not ready for a Black leader. Forget about Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Newt Gingrich and even Dick Cheney. Jon Voight has spoken.
Yes, the Jon Voight. The actor. He blasted President Barack Obama at the Republican congressional fundraiser dinner at the Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C.
The (legendary?) actor said among other things, “Are we supposed to (be) sitting and waiting, watching for the possibility of a new Holocaust? Who’s going to take the responsibility to keep America, I mean Israel, safe. I’ll tell you why this really scares the hell out of me. Everything Obama has recommended has turned out to be disastrous.

“It saddens me greatly to think we were the great powerful good in the world. We as Americans knew America to be strong. We were the liberators of the entire world.

“We are becoming a weak nation. Obama really thinks he is a soft-spoken Julius Caesar. He think he’s going to conquer the world with his soft-spoken sweet talk and really think he’s going to bring all of the enemies of the world into a little playground, where they’ll swing each other back and forth.
“We and we alone are the right frame of mind to free this nation from this Obama oppression. Let’s give thanks to [Republicans] for not giving up and staying the course to bring an end to this false prophet, Obama.”

I mean really. Who can be surprised by the evilness, pettiness and mean-spiritedness that drives the GOP?  The bad thing about it is leaders of the party still believe the spiel they have spouted for years—even when the citizens of the country are clamoring for a different song.
And look who are beginning to take wings as leaders of the party as they gear up for the next presidential election in 2012. Entertainers and actors. Voight was commended by those in attendance for saying “what needed to be said.”

Let’s see, Voight was born in 1938. That makes him soon to be 71, White and Republican. That explains his credentials. By the way, you know Voight is on the money when he is applauded by conservative syndicated columnist, author, and Fox News Channel contributor Michelle Malkin who stated, “It’s so rare to hear a Hollywood dissident speak as candidly as Jon Voight did last night at the NRSC-NRCC fund-raiser last night. Brave man. And thank you, too, Mr. Voight!”

Maybe one day, people will learn that racist ideology and talk, lead to tragedies like the recent one at the Holocaust Museum. James von Brunn, an 88-year-old White supremacist was charged with murder a day after he left a signed anti-Semitic writing in his car outside, then gunned down a Black security guard, Stephen Johns who opened the door to let him in.

In his car, officers found a notebook with a handwritten note that read in part, “You want my weapons—this is how you’ll get them. The Holocaust is a lie. Obama was created by Jews. Obama does what his Jew owners tell him to do.”
