The National Baptist Congress gears up for its 103rd Annual Convention in Houston

HOUSTON- The National Baptist Congress is a mobile school of Christian methods designed for the development of Christian leaders and workers and ministries in congregations throughout the nation. It draws thousands of delegates from various cities around the country. A line-up of phenomenal speakers and national recording artists will ensure that this event is not one that the Houston area will forget.
The Congress will be held June 14-19, 2009, at the George R. Brown Convention Center and Hilton Americas Hotel in Downtown Houston. The theme of the Congress is “Fight the Good Fight, Finish the Course, and Keep the Faith.” Morning classes are from 7-9 a.m., with evening classes held from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Prices for the seminars are: $80 for one, $150 for two, and $200 for three. Please be advised that the Institute of Christian Leadership Development Seminars will be held on Tuesday only, from 12:30-5p.m.
The National Baptist Congress was founded as an educational arm of the National Baptist Publishing Board for training church workers and leaders alike to utilize its resources for Christian education and discipleship more effectively.
