HOUSTON- The Phillis Wheatley High School Class of 1957-Houston TX, along with spouses and friends, enjoyed a seven-day adventure on the Carnival Cruise Ship “Conquest” sailing the Caribbean. The massive Carnival Conquest ship has 13 decks and 1,487 staterooms, with 60% of those having private balconies. So we had plenty to do while sailing. Relaxing, pampering and good food was the order of the day. All while clearing the cobwebs from our minds.
The adventuresome seniors, being the age allotted by the Holy Bible, toured the Hilly Country sides of Montego Bay, Jamaica and shopped on the beautiful Grand Cayman Island. Mingling among the people gives you a “serene” feeling, that lets you know there is a “connection”. I hope somebody knows where I am coming from.
