DALLAS- Angel Faces, an Oak Cliff based 501c3 non-profit performing arts organization is offering twenty-five scholarships for their summer performing arts program. The dance, drama, and music scholarships awarded are primarily talent based but are also intended to attract talented youth whom otherwise would not be able to afford the cost of such extensive training. Scholarship auditions will be held on Tuesday May 19th from 6-9pm, and on Saturday May 23, 2009, from 9am-12pm at The Angel Faces Performing Arts Center, located at 1111 W. Ledbetter Drive, Suite 750.
Talented boys ages 12-21 are also needed as part of the tribute for dance scenes, backstage crew and video, sound and lighting roles. Participants will be taught all aspects of a live, professional stage production. Classes/rehearsals will be held on every Saturday in the month of June from 10:00am to 4:00 pm beginning June 6, 2009. A $25 registration/photography fee is required per each child accepted.
