Grant Writing: A One-Day Workshop offered at Southern University at New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS, LA- The Small Business Development & Management Institute which is located in the College of Business at Southern University-New Orleans (SUNO) primarily serves the educational and cultural needs of the Greater New Orleans metropolitan area. SUNO creates and maintains an environment conducive to learning and growth, promotes the upward mobility of students by preparing them to enter into new, as well as traditional, careers and equips them to function optimally in the mainstream of American society.
They will offer a one-day Grant Writing Workshop, on Thursday, May 21, 2009, from 6-8 p.m., at the Southern University- New Orleans campus, Park Campus Cafeteria, 6800 Press Drive.
The workshop will include information on topics such as: Grant Writing A-Z, Project and Proposal Development, Proposal and Application Processes, Writing Need Statements, Steps to Guaranteed Funding, and much more. The Keynote Speaker will be Dr. William R. Belisle, owner and Chief Science Officer of Orleans Resource Center. This workshop is free of charge and pre-registration in not required.
