HOUSTON- On May 2, the Manhood Achievement Network (M.A.N.) & its Leading Ladies Division (L.L.D.) hosted its 2 nd Annual Gala Celebration & Fundraiser at Eisenhower 9th Grade School. The 2nd Annual Manhood Achievement Network Gala Celebration & Fundraiser recognizes and awards young men and ladies who exemplify a superior achievement in academics, leadership, community service, and other specified talents.
This year’s event highlighted 40 young men who completed the “Making of a Man” training and new this year its Leading Ladies Division highlighted 28 young ladies   who completed the “Leading Lady” training. This year- long training challenges its members to develop their abilities as future leaders, scholars, citizens, husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, and elders in order to offer their deepest gifts in service to the world. The Manhood Achievement Network and its Leading Ladies has various membership levels based on each young person’s pursuit in areas of character building, academic advancement, and community involvement. Although this event’s purpose was to highlight the achievements of Manhood Achievement Network & its Leading Lady members; all guests who attended were met at the door, escorted to their seat and served by the honorees of M.A.N. and L.L. This was done in appreciation to our parents, faculty, and community guest who attended. If it were not for their support in this organization there would be no achievements to highlight this year.
