Lonice Bell Lonice Bell is a 24-year-old December 2008 graduate of the University of North Texas in Denton receiving a Bachelor’s of Public Affairs and Community Service in Applied Arts and Sciences. Bell is very grateful for the opportunity to participate in her first stage play, “When Love Is Not Enough.” She feels like this is one of many doors that God is opening for her. She never imagined doing this play. Bell realizes that the foundation began at 5-years- old when she was honored to serve as a “little” Homecoming Princess along with the Homecoming Court at L.G. Pinkston High School in Dallas ISD. In the second grade she was at B.F. Darrell Elementary crowned as Valentine’s Princess. In her junior year in high school, she was crowned as Homecoming Princess.
At 9-years-old, Bell began her formal modeling career with Dillard’s and J.C. Penny’s Department Stores. This endeavor lead to numerous modeling opportunities.
In January 2007, she served as the host of “Huggin’ Tha Block TV” show with R42 Productions. She conducted interviews with numerous musical and athletic celebrities. Her career then fast forwarded and she began making cameo appearances in numerous music videos for National and International artists. She even managed a rap artist, “The Phoenix”. This led to her hosting and interviewing numerous artists for Allhiphop.com and Blastro.com at the 2008 Ozone Awards in August 2009.
While studying at UNT, Bell modeled with MOSE’ (Models of Style Exposed). She’s modeled for Apple Bottoms and Coogi. She modeled at the August 2008 and February 2009 Magic Shows in Las Vegas, Nevada for Coogi. Lonice has been featured in several hip-hop magazines all over the world (California, Atlanta, Milwaukee, and Dallas). Lonice was just featured on Fox 4 News Insights, February 8, 2009 with Glam Squad.com modeling Armani clothing.
She recently appeared in the independent film “Sweet Justice”. This was her first speaking role. The director of “Sweet Justice” (Tim Grace) was a blessing to her. It was this referral that has her in yet another first, Chyna Robinson’s, “When Love Is Not Enough” stage play. Bell said that everyday she recognizes the awesomeness of God.
