AUSTIN- The subject of boys being sexually abused is not often discussed, but Safeplace has created a safe haven for the healing to begin. On Monday, Oct. 19, 2009 from 6:30-8:00p.m. at 1515 Grove Boulevard, Safeplace holds a support group for men who have been sexually abused.
It’s free and confidential, and a licensed counselor is present. First time attendees must register for a one time orientation session from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in which they will receive some educational materials and access to free client services. Let the healing begin. SafePlace exists to end sexual and domestic violence.
