THE PHOTO SAYS IT ALL: Roy Douglas Malonson (left beside Bud Johnson) explains why AAN&I celebrates 11th birthday.

AAN&I begins 11th year
of Telling It Like It Is

“Dear Mr. Malonson: As far as I know, you are the only newspaper to publish my letter about O. J. Simpson. That you took the time to comment on it was especially appreciated. Just to let you know that I am marvelously pleased by what you did. Thank you. Respectfully Yours, Leland Mellott Mount Vernon, WA, USA.”

“Let Them Eat Crumbs”

15-percent!!! Be satisfied, happy and filled
because that is all you get!!! Blacks, Hispanics and White women walked away from the Omni Hotel table at the Fort Worth Council eating crumbs falling from the Master’s table.

LILLIE DAVIS CHATMAN enjoyed her 107th birthday on April 18, 2005, without ever realizing that she could well have been the oldest living Texan before she finished her course on December 14, 2005, insofar as the super centenarian Viva McComb, who was born March 29, 1894 passed on March 3, 2005.

What Do Seniors do at Christmas Time?

“Children’s children are a crown to the aged and Parents are the pride of their children.” “Gray Hair” is a crown to the aged; to live to see one’s grandchildren is considered a great blessing. Parents are truly the pride of their children.”

East Texas News
I recently received some very disturbing “real news” about what is going on within our Texas Industrial Prison complexes and the Texas judicial system.

PUBLISHER’S ANALYSIS
by Roy Douglas Malonson

No news is good news for watchers on the wall

African-AmericanNews &Issues, as African American’s watcher on the wall, would be remiss if we didn’t make absolutely sure that our audited estimated 2 million readers, in 30 Texas townships and unto millions more accessing our Webpage (www.aframnews.com) each week, understand why a low wattage AM radio station, targeting Black consumers, is worth $10 million dollars to a major media conglomerate with a dubious agenda.

INSIDE & ONLINE
AFRICAN-AMERICAN NEWS & ISSUES

TwiliteZone.com — Most of our community leaders like Odessa Sayles, the Adopt A Black Child legend, not only depend on African-American News&Issues to get their message out, but to also take care of Black Houston’s business. We’re flattered, but, alas, we only endorse the advertisers in our MarketPlace section. Thus, we’re unable to recommend a Black owned Security Company to hire for the National Association of Black Social Workers when it holds its 38th National Conference in Houston April 11 - 15, 2006.

“There is something in every one of you that waits and listens for the sound of the genuine in yourself. It is the only true guide you will ever have. And if you cannot hear it, you will all of your life spend your days on the ends of strings that somebody else pulls.”

~Howard Thurman~
