Texas Southern University Issues New Student IDs to avoid Identity Theft

One of the biggest forms of fraud today is identity theft. Texas ranked second in the nation, with 26,000 identity complaints filed with the Federal Trade Commission in 2004. Identity theft is where an individual uses another’s social security number, credit and name to make unapproved purchases without the permission to do so.

Racism is destroying America and it’s more dangerous than all of the crack, heroin, meth and other drugs put together. As a matter of fact, it’s more dangerous to us (Black people) than weapons of mass destruction, terrorists or enemy armies. What makes racism so lethal is that it can destroy and breakdown a nation from within.

 

Energy bill fosters independence and security

With oil prices hovering around $60 a barrel, the price for petroleum is over 50 percent higher now than it was last year. Energy affects every part of an industrial economy, from manufacturing and transportation to services. Petroleum is also the source from which we create plastics, adhesives and lightweight composite materials.
