A new chamber is forming to assist Fifth Ward’s community businesses

A third general meeting was held by the upcoming Greater Fifth Ward Chamber of Commerce (GFWCC) in The Fifth Ward Community Service Center located at 4410 Market Street, June 20, with a focus on improving the area’s businesses by providing owners with beneficial information and opportunities.
Vice President, Charles (Chuck) Roberts, called the meeting to order, secretary, Sylvia Scarbrough, read the minutes from the last meeting, treasurer, Wiley Lewis, gave his report, and committee person, Monica Craft, reported on classes.
