TSU celebrates Women's History Month

The Texas Southern University Women's Studies program will celebrate Women's History Month through March 31 with powerful testimonies from scholars, activists, historians and students.
"We are very excited that a historian of Stephanie Shaw's caliber will speak during our luncheon," said Merline Pitre, Ph. D., Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Behavioral Sciences.
Dean Pitre said Women's History Month opens a very important dialogue that allows the nation to reflect on the many contributions women have made to society.
