African-American News&Issues, established in 1996 and targeting
African-American, readers is one of the fastest growing and largest
African-American owned newspapers in the United States.
• Circulation
African-American News&Issues is the widest weekly circulated Black
newspaper in Texas with a controlled circulation distributed every
Wednesday.
The paper is delivered to more than 100,000 homes and is available at
more than 5,000 locations, including chambers of commerce, churches,
organizations, barber & beauty shops, schools, funeral homes,
restaurants, public schools and libraries, college/university campuses,
select businesses-retailers-grocery stores, transit centers and various
downtown locations.

Got a lot to say? E-mail or send us a typed, double-spaced article and
we might publish it. Unsolicited articles are published at the
discretion of the editor and are not reimbursed. Articles may be edited
for space and clarity.
• Deadline for Ads
Ad orders and submissions must be received by close of business on
Wednesdays, a week prior to publication.

The 1st Saturday at Home Business Expo.
This expo was created to give local vendors
exposure to individuals in the DFW area. We desire to foster an economic
growth in the minority community.
When & Where: This event will be held every first Saturday of the month
starting this Sept 4th from 10am-4pm. The month of September it will be held
at the St Phillips Community Center at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave Da TX. The
October venue has not been establish but keep your ears open within two
weeks we will have a secure spot

provides a full range of administrative solutions. No problems, Only
solutions, Dazzling Events by Envoyounce where all events are Dazzled and
Horizon Venture Foundation nonprofit organization where building the
community and creating jobs is the fore front. It is hosted by Alicia Carter
Realty where you can buy your first home or that dream vacation home, and
sell your home with experienced, friendly realtors and The Furniture Loft
where you can furnish your whole house for $150 per month with contemporary,
classic and traditional furniture and decor.
Why you should come out and what to expect: You should come out to support
your minority owned businesses. By spending your hard earned dollars with
these vendors you are rebuilding your community as well as celebrating
“the spirit of community�. There will be door prizes such as hotel
accommodations etc and business networking and exposure opportunities for
everyone in the Family.
