Mental Health & Judicial Summit

The Dallas NAACP and Children on the Mend is sponsoring a Mental Health & Judicial Summit on July 17, 2004 at the Southwest Center Mall from 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Significant strides have been made to reduce crime, improve our health, and to raise the bar on education; however, we still lack full knowledge of how to access appropriate services and representation. There exist a strong correlation and link between mental disorders and criminal involvement, thus our goal is to address these issues that can continue to affect us on a short and long term perspective. Improving our knowledge is critical and fundamental to our survival.
