Kirk will interact with a variety of personnel, which operate within the three branches of government, the news media and the international community. Highlights from past conferences have included welcoming remarks from the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives and a panel discussion with prominent journalist of the National Press Club. In addition, Mr. Cash will meet with senators and representatives and staff members to discuss important issues facing the nation today.

Mr. Cash and others will participate in a number of leadership skill building activities and simulations. In one role-play activity titled “If I Where President” Mr. Cash will role-play as president of the United States, and others will role-play as cabinet members responding to an international crisis.

Mr. Cash will also experience some of the responsibilities of United States Supreme Court by taking part in a role-play called “Testing the Constitution”. This role-play is where young leaders examine actual court cases and assume roles of the U. S> Representatives and debate, amend and vote on proposed mock legislation.
Mr. Cash stated that “this is a wonderful opportunity for me as a young African American male in today’s society. I thank God, my family and all my friends for giving me the courage and faith to do All Things Through Christ.”
