Lest
History Repeats
Black America mustn’t take voting for granted

REP. MAXINE WATERS (D-CA), never
takes (real or imagined) attacks on her people lightly, therefore she
considered the possibility of America canceling another check that had
been written to Black America very seriously. On April 2, 2001, she was
appointed by House Minority Leader Richard Gephardt (D-MO) to hold
hearings and town hall meetings throughout America to watchdog our
voting processes.”

and jobs that were being added. Surely, you haven’t forgotten
what our old folks told us about a person who can’t look you in
the eyes, without blinking, when they’re lying? |

JOSEPH
A. CHATMAN, M. D.
JOSEPH A. CHATMAN, M. D. was no doubt
smiling down from heaven as his militant spirit was demonstrated by
Prairie View A &M University’s young African warriors who commemorated
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr'. s’ birthday, by marching on Waller County’s
political leaders that are bent on denying students the right to vote in
their municipal elections. |
