In living on this earth, you did what I had you to do until I smiled down with appreciation, spread my arms and said, I have something special for you.

I've been watching your work and I'm pleased at what I see.

Leave what you have there child, to come be here with me. It's hard leaving family, friends, mother, father, sister and brother.

I need you, God said, Without a stutter.

Although, this short lived, earthly life you had leaving a
tearful family lost and sad, My obedient child, you came.

Questions from you were never asked, working hard to please me at
such a young age. I'm pleased, so come, my heaven's your stage.
Blessings I give to those who follow my commandments through.

Again, Chris, I'm so very pleased with you.
You became a leader, you gave, volunteered and praises to me you sang.
Raised in the church by good parents,
I had no reason to worry of you being in a gang.

I proudly watched as you grew into a worthy blessing, you see.
So I say, well done, my child. I'm very pleased, come be with me.
