IRS announces free seminar schedule for Houston area business owners

HOUSTON - For people starting a new business, the IRS is offering four free business income tax seminars in Houston in November. The seminar provides new and prospective business owners with a basic overview of IRS tax benefits and regulations that come with running a business.
Topics covered at the seminar include selecting a business structure; record keeping; self-employment taxes; and IRS forms and procedures. The seminar is free, but reservations are required to attend.
