Jesus Is Alpha & Omega Ministry held its 5th Annual Fighting the Good Fight of Faith Awards Banquet on Oct. 11 at The Power Center, 12401 S. Post Oak. Guest speakers for the event was Mitch & Rozalie Yeremiah, Jews who have accepted Jesus as their Messiah, The couple produces the TV program “The Crossing” which focuses on bridging the gap between Jews and Christians.

Master of Ceremonies was Rev. Thomas Walker, youth pastor of Windsor Village United Methodist Church. Special guest artists were BoyZ and Rev. Keith West. Jesus Is Alpha & Omega Ministry, 5959 Westheimer, Suite 122, was founded by Wilford and Lanita Darden. Wilford stated, “We thank God for yet another opportunity to glorify His name through our annual awards recognition banquet. Tonight, for the fifth year, we prepare to encourage individuals and organizations who have been quietly doing the will of God, ministering faithfully in the Houston area.”
