Gospel
Extravaganza presented at Radisson
In spite of
soaring unemployment rates, exacerbated by an economic downturn and corporate fraud;
threat of terrorism on the home front, thats already reeling from crime, violence,
road rage, perversion; child abuse, alternative lifestyles; madness and mayhem in general,
as well as wars and rumors of wars throughout our sin-sick world, there is little doubt
that your soul will be blessed if you attend the Gospel Extravaganza Sunday, September 27,
2002, at the Radisson Hotel Astrodome, 8686 Kirby Drive.
Surely, God gets the glory, but Doris Brown Simonton with mg-ministries presents a Gospel
Extravaganza that will begin at 7:00 p.m., featuring great gospel artists like the
anointed Gospel Saxophonist John Murray, who will be joined by soloist Debra Clark, Rev.
Michael Pickett, and his Pleasant Hill Male Chorus, Henry Sowells and Spiritual Praise.
In the midst of the spirit-filled extravaganza will also be the imitable Doris Brown
Simonton, a preachers daughter, wife and aunt of Rev. Terry Brown, pastor of Pure
Light BC, who has dedicated her entire life to singing for the Lord.
Also featured on the program will be vocalist Loretta Gurnell and The Gigantic Overland
Travelers. Admission will be $20 pre-sale and $25 at the door. Call 281/349-1299 for more
information. |
