Skipper Lee Frazier, the man who brought a mountain of soul
to Houston, celebrated his 45 years in radio and his 75th birthday. Windsor Village United
Methodist Church located at 6000 Heatherbrook in Houston, Texas is where he celebrated
this special occasion on July 29.
The Mistress of Ceremony was Ms. Letitia Tish Jackson from KWWJ Gospel 1360 AM
radio. Some of the guests at this celebration were the Honorable Mayor Lee P. Brown of the
City of Houston, St. Johns United Methodist Church, KCOH, and Mount Vernon United
Methodist Church with many other special guest and friends.
Frazier said, God bless the committee that worked so hard putting this event
together. I thank you, my fans and friends for being here for this celebration and
listening to me for the past 45 years. I especially thank my pastor who I have the highest
regards. A special Thank You to all of the participants of this event. Thanks
to all the entertainers who performed tonight. For all of you who Toast me, may God
continually bless you and your congregation. Finally, to the Roasters when you get home I
hope your dog crawls from under your house and bite you. May God bless each of you.
