United Church celebrates second Church Anniversary and building dedication
Caribbean United Church will be celebrating their second Church Anniversary and the
Grand Opening and Dedication of their new church building on Saturday, July 13, 2002, at
5801 Grapevine St., Southwest Houston (off South Post Oak Road, between W. Orcm and W.
Fuqua). The celebration begins at 9:30 a.m.
Dr. Neil W. Reid, pastor of the Alpha Seventh-day Adventist Church, will be the guest
preacher for the 11:00 a.m. Worship Service. His sermon will be using the theme,
Christ is our Cornerstone, On Him alone we Build. After the service a
fellowship luncheon will be served.
The afternoons service begins at 3:00 p.m. In, addition there will be praise and
singing from a special musical treat by the Main Focus quartet, Divine Intervention Mass
Choir, and other renowned groups. There will be Words of Commendation from visiting
pastors, government officials, State Representatives and a time of fellowship with each
other as well as refreshment to climax the evening. The public is invited. Call
