Dear Arts Education Supporters,
The Houston Arts Partners Conference returns to downtown Houston this September, and is expected to attract over 1,000 K-12 educators, district decision-makers, and representatives of arts organizations, businesses, and higher education.
The 2016 Conference, Motivate – Engage – Transform: Re-Designing the Future of Education, will be guided by the evidence of impact that arts education and arts integration partnerships can have in schools, in districts, and on the lives of individual children. For example, our sessions will demonstrate how
- arts integration strategies support excellence in teaching across the curriculum, including STEM subjects;
- arts engagement by students directly influences their skills as the kinds of creative thinkers and communicators necessary for the economy of the future; and
- partnerships between arts organizations and schools allow teachers to engage in ongoing professional learning even as their students benefit from access to the arts.
For the sixth year, we will be inspiring educators across the region to value the arts as a key part of every child’s education – not only to develop tomorrow’s artists, but tomorrow’s scientists, doctors, scholars, explorers, and innovators.
By underwriting this unprecedented event, not only does your company or organization benefit from numerous opportunities for sponsor recognition and engagement, but you can engage directly with the decision-makers who are making a difference in education today.
We value your support of this unique conference. Over the past five years, the HAP conference has become an indispensable part of Houston’s arts education landscape. Please join us in bringing this critical arts integration resource to the Houston region for another year.
